Job Summary
Ensure the comfort and safety of each AENT patient by individualizing care according to special needs and following safety and infection control procedures. Identify patients, review medical records, and accurately perform and document post-procedure nursing assessments. Act as a liaison between the physician and the patient or family, reporting any abnormalities to the responsible MD or Anesthesiologist. Maintain a flexible, cooperative, and supportive presence on the clinical team while dealing compassionately with patients, families, physicians, and staff. Requires an active Maryland Registered Nurse License with preferred expertise in otorhinolaryngological nursing.
Required Qualifications
- Active Maryland Registered Nurse License
- Current BLS/PALS/ACLS certification
Desired Qualifications
- Clinical expertise in otorhinolaryngological nursing
- Certification in the field of OR Nursing
