Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) for Overnight shift in Hospice inpatient setting at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House, Scarborough, ME. Provide skilled nursing care under physician plan of care, manage pain and symptoms at end of life, conduct ongoing assessments, develop/update individualized plans of care with the interdisciplinary team, offer emotional support to patients and families, ensure comfort, dignity and safety, and collaborate with hospice aides, social workers, chaplains, providers, and volunteers. Requires Maine nursing license, CPR certification, and at least one year of recent clinical nursing experience; hospice/palliative care experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Current R.N. license in the State of Maine
- Current CPR certification required
- Minimum one year of recent clinical nursing experience required (hospice, palliative care, oncology, ICU, or med-surg experience preferred)
