Job Summary
Provides direct patient care in ambulatory/outpatient settings and conducts telephone triage using the nursing process; manages medication refills as an agent of the provider using approved nursing protocols; ensures safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, and patient-centered care; supports educational opportunities and has access to tuition/certification reimbursement; includes wearables for staff safety and various lead roles; EPIC electronic charting system usage; requires NM nursing licensure and ADN with BSN plan; offers night/weekend shift differentials and professional development opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License
- ADN minimum with BSN by 5 years of hire
- Minimum ADN preparation with expectation of BSN completion within 5 years of hire
- BSN completion within 5 years of hire
- BLS (AHA Healthcare Provider) required for all
- CDS Outpatient
- Oncology Chemotherapy certification (preferred)
- ACLS, PALS (Urgent Care)
- PALS (Pediatric Urgent Care)
- Emergency response training
- License/certification in nursing practice
