Job Summary
RN-Outpatient Team Nurse-PEH provides high-quality professional nursing services in ambulatory care and telephone triage settings using the nursing process. Responsibilities include direct patient care per clinic staffing models, medication refill management as an agent of the provider using approved nursing protocols, and delivering safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, and patient-centered care. Eligible for educational and career development options, certification reimbursement, malpractice coverage, loan forgiveness programs, and access to EPIC electronic charting. Requires a State of New Mexico or Compact Nursing License, ADN preparation with BSN to be completed within 5 years, and BLS; ACLS/PALS for Urgent/ Pediatric Urgent Care and Oncology certifications when applicable. Shift: Days, Full-time; compensation ranges offered with night/weekend differentials.
Required Qualifications
- Licensure: State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License
- Degree from accredited academic nursing program
- Minimum ADN preparation with expectation of BSN completion within 5 years of hire
- Specialty Certifications in area of practice preferred
- BLS (AHA Healthcare Provider) required for all
- CDS Outpatient
- Specialty Care Clinics: Oncology Chemotherapy certification
- Urget Care: ACLS, PALS
- Pediatric Urgent Care: PALS
