Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) in Outpatient-Surgical Oncology is responsible for assessing patient needs, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care in an outpatient setting. Key responsibilities include providing leadership in a professional practice setting, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, promoting patient safety, and utilizing the nursing process for patient care. Required qualifications include RN licensure, multiple background clearances, and CPR certification. Preferred candidates will have certification in their area of specialty.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Current State of PA RN licensure OR Current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
- CPR certification
