Job Summary
RN - Outpatient Surgery part-time role providing patient-centered perioperative nursing care: coordinates and delivers high-quality care using the nursing process, administers prescribed medications, assists in surgical procedures, monitors vital signs, maintains sterile environments, adheres to infection control and safety standards, educates patients and families, documents care thoroughly, and participates in performance improvement. OR Services: pre-, intra-, and post-operative nursing care, scrubbing in, instrument and supply handling, and collaboration with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required
- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support required
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation preferred
