Job Summary
Assess, plan, evaluate, and implement a patient plan of care for individuals and families in an outpatient pulmonary setting. Assign or delegate tasks to LPNs and support staff based on patient needs and skill levels, while supervising delegates and evaluating assigned scope of practice. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to evaluate clinical care, promote patient safety initiatives, and participate in department-specific quality and evidence-based practice projects. Provide verbal and written feedback to peers, mentor staff through role modeling, and cultivate a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and adaptability. Maintain continuous lifelong learning by seeking formal and independent activities to develop clinical skills and participate in professional organizations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Current State of PA RN licensure OR Current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- CPR certification
- HIPAA compliance
- Code of Business Conduct adherence
- Adherence to applicable federal and state laws, rules, and regulations
- Company policies and training requirements compliance
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred Certification in area of specialty
