Job Summary
Assess, plan, evaluate, and implement patient care plans for individuals and families in an outpatient gyn/onc setting. Assign or delegate tasks to LPNs and support staff based on patient needs and skill levels. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to evaluate clinical care, promote patient safety initiatives, and participate in department-specific quality projects. Provide verbal and written feedback to peers, mentor staff, and advocate for patients by resolving concerns and maintaining compassionate communication. Document interventions, notify physicians of condition changes, and ensure appropriate order sets are utilized.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Current State of PA RN licensure OR Current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- CPR certification
- HIPAA compliance
- Code of Business Conduct adherence
- Adherence to applicable federal and state laws, rules, and regulations
- Company policies and training requirements compliance
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred Certification in area of specialty
