RN (Outpatient) Full-time, Day shift

Job Summary
Delivers coordinated nursing care for outpatients in a clinic setting according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment. Exercises collaboration with the patient, family, and healthcare team to provide a safe, healing, and caring environment. Prepares patient, room, and equipment for surgical procedures and assists the physician with minor surgery. Delegates duties and coordinates the healthcare team, participates in discharge planning, and performs other job-related duties as assigned. Preferred BSN; required RN licensure in the state of practice; CPR/BLS and BLS certifications recognized (AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS).
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
- AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS: Required
