Job Summary
RN Outpatient Cardiovascular Nurse in Cardiac Diagnostics and Cardiac Rehab conducting stress testing and rehabilitation within an interdisciplinary team. Supports a 32-hour-per-week Day shift in Vinings, GA. Responsibilities include patient assessments, IV insertion, emergency medication administration per ACLS protocols, cardiopulmonary monitoring, telemetry interpretation, documenting in EMR, and delivering age-appropriate, evidence-based cardiovascular care. Requires active RN license, ACLS/BLS certifications, minimum 5 years nursing experience, and use of Epic EMR with Microsoft Office/SuccessFactors. Education plans and patient education are integral, with collaboration across cardiology, diabetes education, and wellness programs.
Required Qualifications
- RN license (state-specific or compact)
- ACLS certification (ACLS or ARC-ALS variants)
- BLS certification (BLS or ARC-BLS variants)
- Minimum 5 years nursing experience
- Associate's degree or nursing diploma (required) or Bachelor’s in Nursing preferred
- Knowledge of Epic EMR and telecommunication systems (Outlook, Word, SuccessFactors)
- Ability to perform cardiovascular stress testing and cardiac rehabilitation activities
- Ability to obtain informed consent and perform IV insertions
