Job Summary
RN Outpatient Cardiovascular Nurse in Cardiac Diagnostics and Cardiac Rehab settings. Responsibilities include performing stress testing, developing individualized care plans, coordinating with cardiologists and the multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality patient care, and providing education to patients and families. Requires ACLS/BLS certifications, 5 years nursing experience, and RN licensure. Works 32 hours per week on Day shift in the Cardiac Diagnostics and Cardiac Rehab programs, reporting to program managers and collaborating with a team to ensure safe, evidence-based cardiovascular care. Proficient with EMR systems (Epic) and standard office software.
Required Qualifications
- Required Minimum Education: Associates Nursing or Diploma Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- RN license (single-state or multi-state compact)
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support or ARC-ALS variants within 180 Days
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS variants
- Minimum 5 years nursing experience
- National certification in area of specialty Upon Hire Preferred
- Proficient with Cardiac Diagnostics, Cardiac Stress Lab, and Cardiac Rehab responsibilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, SuccessFactors, and Epic EMR
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to policy
