Job Summary
RN Outpatient Cardiovascular Nurse leads and participates in outpatient Cardiac Diagnostics and Cardiac Rehab programs, performing stress testing, monitoring, education, and individualized care plans within a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, safe patient care in an outpatient cardiovascular setting. Responsibilities include patient assessment, data interpretation, IV therapy, emergency management per ACLS, documentation in EMR, coordination with physicians and other care partners, and ongoing professional development in cardiovascular care. The role requires current nursing license in Georgia, ACLS/BLS, and a minimum of 5 years of nursing experience. The position reports to the program Manager for Cardiac Diagnostics and to the Manager Cardiovascular Rehabilitation, with day shift hours and 32 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support or ARC-ALS - Amer Red Cross Advanced Life Support or ACLS-I - ACLS - Instructor or ACLS-P - ACLS-Provisional (180 Days) within 180 Days
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- National certification in area of specialty Upon Hire Preferred
- Minimum 5 years nursing
