Job Summary
RN Outpatient Cardiovascular Nurse in Cardiac Diagnostics and Cardiac Rehab. Provide high-quality, safe patient care in the Cardiac Stress Lab and rehabilitation programs; perform stress testing, monitor patients, interpret data, and develop individualized care plans. Collaborate with cardiologists, health psychology, diabetes education, and other wellness programs; educate patients and families, document in EMR, and participate in ongoing quality and safety initiatives. Requires active RN licensure, ACLS/BLS certifications, at least 5 years of nursing experience, and a focus on cardiovascular care. Role supports Wellstar’s governance model and clinical practice standards; 32-hour weekly daytime schedule.
Required Qualifications
- RN license (Active)
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- Minimum 5 years nursing experience
- Associate degree in Nursing or Nursing diploma (Bachelor's preferred)
- National certification in area of specialty preferred
- Ability to work 32 hours per week (Day shift)
- Ability to interpret data and communicate with physicians
- Experience in cardiac diagnostics and cardiac rehab is preferred
