RN Ortho Trauma

Provide high-quality, patient-centered care as an RN in the Ortho Trauma unit. Assess the patient's condition at admission and each scheduled shift, perform procedures and other functions as ordered, administer medications, document care, respond promptly to patient requests, and educate patients, families, and caregivers about the medical condition, treatment plan, medications, side effects, and follow-up measures. Collaborate with the medical providers and care team to ensure an outstanding patient experience and positive clinical outcomes. Knowledge of nursing models (Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage); ensure thorough documentation; educate patients and families; translate complex medical terminology; maintain advocacy for patients and families.
