Job Summary

Required Qualifications

• •Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• •Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice
• •Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• •Strong organizational skills and ability to be detailed oriented
• •Good time management skills and ability to be work in a fast paced environment and be self-directed
• •Good interpersonal, leadership, and delegation skills and ability to demonstrate good judgement and supervise or manage others
• •Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications
• •Ability to effectively delegate, direct, and assist licensed and ancillary team members
• •Ability to assume accountability for quality patient outcomes
• •Ability to exhibit sensitivity to cultural, ethnic and religious diversity in all interactions
• •Ability to maintain involvement in activities aimed toward the achievement of unit and the department's strategic goals and objectives
• •Ability to demonstrate professional responsibility and accountability for his/her own practice
• •Ability to support the company's philosophy of nursing
• •Ability to effectively use the nursing process in the delivery of patient care

• •Ability to reside in and work in Louisiana (not Colorado, California, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington, or Washington D.C.)
