RN, OR role delivering comprehensive perioperative patient care across the surgical continuum. Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care; performs comprehensive nursing assessments; coordinates with multidisciplinary teams; directs patient care and teaching; provides intravenous interventions; assists with anesthesia and perioperative procedures; conducts emergency and post-anesthesia care with systematic documentation; ensures patient safety, infection control, proper identification, and compliance with policies; collaborates with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to optimize outcomes and patient and family education; participates in quality improvement and unit staffing, admissions, and discharge planning.
