Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle within the organization's policies and procedures. Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff to ensure quality nursing care and maintain standards of practice. Provide care utilizing nursing processes for patients across diverse teams while demonstrating professional growth and accountability. This role supports exceptional patient outcomes at Piedmont Augusta Hospital with a focus on diverse teams and schedule flexibility.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a nursing program
- No experience required
- New Graduates of a nursing program eligible
- 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions
- RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
- ACLS Certification
- CDN (Certified Dialysis Certificate)
- ACLS and PALS Certification
- Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification
- PALS Certification
- PreOp/PACU/ENDO/CSU – ACLS
- BLS
- Labor and Delivery-ACLS Certification
- NRP
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Program
- NAT (Newborn Admission Team)- NRP
- Nursery- NRP
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting
- Advanced certification in field of specialty
