Job Summary
RN in the Operating Room for part-time (24 hrs/week) at Mercy Hospital Lincoln/Washington. Day shift from 6:15am to 2:45pm with on-call until 5pm on weekdays and 8pm on weekends. Requires active RN license and hands-on OR experience; ACLS/BLS certifications; PACU experience appreciated. Benefits include loan forgiveness up to $20,000 for new grads, tuition reimbursement up to $2,000/year, Day-One medical/dental/vision, PTO, retirement plan, and shift differentials.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited RN program
- Active RN license (state-specific or compact)
- Must meet all state board of nursing requirements
- Hands-on Operating Room experience required (PACU experience acceptable)
- ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- BLS – Basic Life Support (or within 30 days of hire)
- Any unit-specific certifications (with timeline for completion)
- Regularly lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs
- Prolonged standing/walking throughout shift
- Ability to bend, kneel, twist, squat as needed
