Job Summary
Deliver skilled pediatric nursing care for medically complex patients by performing ongoing assessments, managing Gastrostomy tubes safely, and administering medications per physician orders. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care while educating families on safety practices. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to all regulatory standards. This PRN role requires at least one year of experience, current BLS/CPR certification, and GT proficiency, with shifts available August 4–7, September 22–25, and September 28–29.
Required Qualifications
- Currently licensed Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in state of employment
- Previous experience required of at least 1 year
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- GT
- Reliable transportation
- Must be available for PRN shifts
- Must be available for August 4 to 7
- Must be available for September 22 to 25
- Must be available for September 28 to 29
- Respiratory Assessment
- Deliver skilled pediatric nursing care in accordance with physician orders and the established plan of care
- Perform ongoing patient assessments and monitoring
- Safely manage and maintain GT
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure continuity of care
- Educate families and caregivers on care plans and safety practices
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
- Adhere to all applicable clinical, regulatory, and organizational standards
