Job Summary
In-home pediatric nursing role delivering one-to-one care to pediatric patients in patients' homes across DeLand, IL. Provide comprehensive nursing services within the scope of practice for LPN/LVN, adhering to state Nurse Practice Acts and FFHC policies. Maintain updated clinical records, evaluate nursing care effectiveness, and communicate changes with physicians and nurse supervisor. Educate patients and caregivers on care needs; participate in FFHC Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement programs; support training of new staff; ensure confidentiality and professional communication. Role involves travel to patients' homes, varying shift lengths (8, 10, or 12 hours) with potential days including weekends, and a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio. Required Qualifications
- LPN/LVN Nursing Degree
- Unencumbered LPN/LVN License in the state of employment or Multi-State license through eNLC where recognized
- 1 years of demonstrated experience
- Valid driver license with proof of insurance in applicable states
- Clear background screening
- Working knowledge of Nurse Practice Acts
- Valid and current CPR card/certificate with in person instructor led hands on skills check
- Clear Hep B Screening in applicable states
- Clear TB Screening in applicable states
