Job Summary
Delivers nursing care for long-term care residents and post-acute rehab patients, including general rehab, neuro rehab, traumatic brain injuries, and cancer specialties. Performs assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation using the nursing process. Collaborates with RNs, mid-level providers, and physicians to inform patients and families about treatments, medications, and equipment. Documents care provided via computer or written patient records consistent with guidelines. Works day shifts from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., three days a week, with variable weekend rotation. Requires RN or LPN licensure in Michigan, BLS certification, and completion of an approved nursing program. Located at Corewell Health's Rehab & Nursing Kentridge campus.
Required Qualifications
- Associates in Nursing
- State of MI Registered Nurse (RN)
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an approved nursing program
- State of MI Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) upon hire
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days
- Drug-free workplace
- Compliance with MMR, Varicella, Tdap, and Influenza vaccine requirement
