Job Summary
Deliver nursing care for long-term care residents, performing assessments, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation under the ANA standards and state laws. Licensed Practical Nurses contribute to patient care plans, inform families about treatments and medications, and document care via computer or written records under RN or physician direction. Weekend shift coverage from 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. every weekend, with a 48 out of 52 weekend rotation. Eligible for up to 96 hours off through PTO exchanges and holiday swaps. Base pay plus $10/hour for RNs or $8/hour for LPNs. Located at Corewell Health Rehab & Nursing Center in Grand Rapids.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Associates in Nursing MI
- Graduate from LPN Program MI
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days
- Must be able to work 48 out of 52 weekends per calendar year
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must comply with MMR, Varicella, Tdap, and Influenza vaccine requirement
