Job Summary
Delivers nursing care for long-term care residents and post-acute rehab patients, managing assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation through the nursing process. Licensed Practical Nurses document care provided via computer or written records and inform patients and families about treatments and medications under RN direction. Registered Nurses uphold professional standards including ethical practice, evidence-based practice, and quality improvement while collaborating with the healthcare team. Located on a 10-acre campus in Kentridge, the unit offers integrated services for specialties such as neuro rehab and traumatic brain injuries. Part-time day shifts include 12 weekly hours of work.
Required Qualifications
- Associates in Nursing
- State of MI Registered Nurse (RN)
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an approved nursing program
- State of MI Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) upon hire
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days
