RN or LPN 6HR Night Shifts

Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care as LPN/RN on 6-hour night shifts (7pm-1am) at Rivaya Care affiliated facilities; supervise nursing assistants, administer medications, perform rounds, complete records, and work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver individualized, compassionate care. Requires a nursing license, ability to work every other weekend, and compliance with background checks. Required Qualifications
- Valid Nursing License as required by the state
- Ability to work every other weekend
- Compliance with the state Health Care Worker Background Check requirements
- Must be able to relate positively and favorably to residents
- Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team
- Familiarity with hospital health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures
- Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and able to handle stress
- Must be energetic, professional, and reliable
- Direct the day-to-day activities of the nursing assistants
- Complete required record-keeping upon resident admission, discharge, and transfer; chart and document per facility policy
- Prepare and administer medications as ordered by a physician and perform other drug administration functions per established policies
- Make daily rounds of the unit and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
