Job Summary
The RN Internship program in the Operating Room for newly qualified RNs and those without prior surgical services experience includes a two-year structure with in-depth orientation and clinicals designed to prepare participants for OR practice, under supervision and within Corewell Health policies, featuring patient-family centered care, teaching, and documentation in health records. Required Qualifications
- Associates in Nursing Required
- Bachelors in Nursing Required within 5 years
- MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- 1 year of experience as an RN preferred
- 1 year of Surgical Technologist experience preferred
- Med/surg, progressive care or procedural nursing preferred
