Job Summary
Provide patient care in the NICU using the nursing process, maintaining professional accountability and coordinating care across departments. Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers while ensuring patient rights and confidentiality are upheld. Work full-time nights from 7pm to 7am with rotational weekends and holidays, adhering to Mercy Service Standards. This role requires one year of NICU RN experience and includes a sign-on bonus based on tenure, with tuition reimbursement and relocation assistance available for full-time employees.
Required Qualifications
- One year of working experience as a NICU RN
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure meeting all state board of nursing requirements
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
- 7pm-7am shift availability
- Rotational weekends availability
- Holidays availability
