Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice RN in Florida with at least one year of recent operating room experience. Provides direct nursing care in the OR, focuses on patient safety, uses standard care procedures, documents in medical records, collaborates with surgeons and team, serves as preceptor for new staff, and participates in quality improvement activities. Requires BLS and ALS certifications, and proficiency with Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook/Windows; on-call duties may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the State of Florida
- One year of recent OR experience is required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification required from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- Intermediate computer knowledge: Uses Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows
