RN OR (Days)

Provides professional nursing care to patients; collaborates with physicians and the healthcare team in the delivery of patient care using the nursing process. Performs nursing assessments, assists with exams and treatments, provides patient education, and maintains medical records. Structures care across the patient’s continuum, coordinates treatment plans, and develops/implements discharge and transfer plans. Participates in program evaluation and quality improvement, ensures safe care to patients and staff, adheres to regulatory standards and Memorial Hermann policies, and supports professional growth; may serve as a preceptor or mentor to less experienced staff. Requires active Texas RN license, BLS certification, and may require unit-specific certifications. The role is posted for daytime hours (0645-1900) with call requirements and varied weekdays.
