Job Summary
RN OR - CVOR role focused on direct perioperative patient care within Perioperative, PACU, or Operating Room settings. Provides care using the nursing process, contributes to a multidisciplinary team, and precepts those new to healthcare. Emphasizes wellness, evidence-based practice, and safety/quality at the point of care. Includes orientation with clinical educators and adherence to AORN/ABPANC curricula; opportunities for career development and tuition assistance. Requires RN licensure, 6 months OR nursing experience or UCHealth Fellowship completion, BLS/CPR certification, and BSN preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of OR nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program
- BLS - CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date (valid through 60 days after hire)
