Job Summary
Provides top-of-scope direct patient care using the nursing process in Perioperative, PACU, or Operating Room settings. Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional outcomes and supports evidence-based practice, safety, and quality at the point of care. Demonstrates proficiency through precepting those new to healthcare and UCHealth, and embraces ongoing clinical education; participates in AORN/ABPANC standards within perioperative care. Requires RN licensure and graduation from an accredited nursing program, with 6 months of OR RN experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program, along with BLS/CPR certification. Onsite role with weekend day shifts; salary ranges based on experience with potential differential pay for additional OR experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited/state nursing program
- State RN licensure
- 6 months OR nursing experience or UCHealth Fellowship
- BLS/CPR through AHA or Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer (valid through 60 days after hire)
