Job Summary
Conduct direct patient care as the main circulating RN during intra-operative phases at the Ambulatory Surgery Center. Provide supervision and oversight of clinical aspects while collaborating with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and the surgical team. Recognize and respond to any complications or emergencies, ensuring regulatory compliance and safety protocol participation. Document all patient care activities accurately. Requires a current Colorado RN license, 1-3 years of OR or perioperative experience, and BLS/ACLS certifications. Work 8-12 hours per week on Wednesdays in a supportive podiatry team environment.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in Colorado
- Previous experience in an OR or Perioperative setting
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required (or within three months of hire)
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Valid RN license
- Associates or Bachelor Degree in nursing
- Nursing: 1-3 years (required)
