RN -OR Circulating Nurse

Cherry County Hospital is hiring an Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as the Circulating Nurse in the Surgical Services team in Valentine, Nebraska. The role provides perioperative care across pediatric through geriatric patients, collaborating with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists. Responsibilities include circulating for a variety of procedures (endoscopic, arthroscopic, orthopedic, ophthalmology, ENT, OB/GYN, general surgery, urology, GI, podiatry, pediatric dental), participating in pre-operative, intra-operative, post-operative, and PACU care, and sharing rotating on-call duties with equitable weekend and holiday coverage. Practice within AORN standards and Nebraska Board of Nursing regulations. Qualifications emphasize Nebraska RN licensure, BLS and ACLS, with PALS preferred, and operating room circulating experience as well as PACU/post-anesthesia recovery experience preferred. Strong critical thinking, organization, communication, and teamwork skills are required, with the ability to work independently while adapting to changing patient needs and surgical priorities.
