Job Summary
Coordinate daily activities and distribute work during scheduled shifts while acting as a professional educator and resource for new employees. Deliver approximately 80% of duties in direct patient care across pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations, with 20% dedicated to shift supervision and clinical instruction. Set priorities based on patient acuity and volume issues to manage the unit during clinical shifts. Requires Georgia RN licensure, BLS certification, and two years of RN experience. No weekend or on-call requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations
- Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
- Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN)
- Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units
Desired Qualifications
- BSN degree
- Two (2) years recent experience in current clinical specialty (i.e., critical care, surgical services, diabetes education, radiology, etc.)
- Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units
