Job Summary
Coordinate daily activities, distribute work, and supervise shift operations while acting as a clinical educator for new employees. Deliver approximately 80% of time to direct patient care across pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations, with 20% dedicated to preceptor duties. Set priorities based on real-time patient acuity and volume fluctuations. This role requires a Georgia-licensed RN with two years of experience, BLS certification, and a BSN preferred. Work hours are 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM with no weekend or on-call requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations
- Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
- Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN)
- No weekend shifts
- No on-call requirements
Desired Qualifications
- BSN degree
- Two (2) years recent experience in current clinical specialty (i.e., critical care, surgical services, diabetes education, radiology, etc.)
- Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units
- Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units
