Job Summary
RN or ASC in the Perioperative/Operating Room setting at Parkview Outpatient Center. Direct patient care using the nursing process in a fast-paced perioperative environment (OR, PACU) with a multidisciplinary team. Maintains safety and quality at the point of care, may precept those new to UCHealth, and works within evidence-based care models aligned to AORN/ABPANC standards. Requires RN licensure, BLS CPR, and completion of an accredited RN program; 6 months of OR nursing experience or UCHealth Fellowship. Shift: Days, 80 hours per pay period, no weekends/holidays/call. Includes comprehensive benefits and education/loan-repayment programs.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider and any relevant certification as determined at position level
- Preferred: CNOR
- 6 months of OR nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
