Job Summary
Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and protocols, using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Establishes relationships with patients and families, educates patients and families on health measures, coordinates care with the inter-professional team, and applies evidence-based nursing practices. Demonstrates leadership by mentoring nursing colleagues and promoting a compassionate, culturally sensitive care environment. Maintains collaboration with healthcare providers to support ethical, holistic patient care and safe outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
- RN license in MO/IL/OK/WI or compact state
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association
- Current licensure/eligibility to practice nursing as required by applicable state boards of nursing
