RN Opportunities at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital - Mount Vernon

Conduct direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols by systematically evaluating the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice. Develop and implement individualized plans of care using the nursing process, including collecting assessment data, determining diagnoses, and evaluating patient outcomes. Serve as an advocate for patients and families while educating them on measures to promote and restore health. Collaborate with the inter-professional team and community members to set goals and provide culturally sensitive, ethical, and compassionate interventions. Mentor nursing colleagues and students to foster a healthy work environment. Perform point of care testing and other duties as assigned while maintaining constant alertness. Requires a Registered Professional Nurse license in Illinois and Basic Life Support certification.
