Job Summary
Deliver direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols while systematically evaluating the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice. Establish effective relationships with patients, families, and significant others to facilitate unique care plans, utilizing the nursing process to develop, implement, and evaluate interventions based on comprehensive physical, functional, cultural, social, economic, developmental, spiritual, vocational, and leisure assessments. Collaborate with the inter-professional team and community members to set goals, plan interventions, and ensure culturally sensitive, ethical, and compassionate decision-making. Educate patients and families on health promotion and restoration measures, foster a healthy work environment by mentoring colleagues and students, and apply evidence-based practice to meet age-specific and clinical needs. Maintain a constant state of alertness, perform point-of-care testing as assigned, and drive when necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
