Job Summary
Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization in a medical-surgical setting. Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; develops patient-centered care plans considering physical, cultural, social, economic, developmental, spiritual, vocational, and leisure factors. Collaborates with patients, families, and inter-professional team to deliver evidence-based care; educates patients and families on health measures; mentors nursing colleagues and students; maintains a safe, ethical, and compassionate practice environment; may perform point-of-care testing and other duties as assigned. Requires RN licensure in IL/MO/OK/WI or Compact State and BLS HCP certification; graduate of an accredited nursing program or licensing equivalency. Schedule options include FT, PT, and PRN with diverse shifts, and benefits are described by the employer.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, or Wisconsin OR RN license issued by a Compact State
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association
- No experience required (experience level junior-friendly as RN is licensure-based)
