Job Summary
The Clinical Operations Education Supervisor is crucial in managing clinical education at El Rio Health, responsible for developing and overseeing educational programs, onboarding, and professional development initiatives. This role involves evaluating and implementing education strategies, managing staff recruitment, and ensuring compliance with Joint Commission standards. Additionally, it participates in creating a culture of continuous learning and requires a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, significant experience in healthcare operations and education, as well as leadership capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university.
- Three (3) years’ experience in operations, clinical or healthcare environment.
- Three (3) years’ experience in education consultation or support.
- Three (3) years’ of supervisory experience; preferably in a Healthcare environment.
- Current Registered Nurse license in good standing from the Arizona Board of Nursing.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers.
- Level I fingerprint clearance card: current valid and in good standing or have applied for it within seven working days after beginning employment.
- Reliable transportation for operational reassignments during the workday.
Desired Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Nursing or a related field from an accredited college or university.
- Five (5) years’ experience in clinical/nursing education to include curriculum development, program evaluation, and evidence-based teaching.
- Five (5) years’ of supervisory experience; preferably in a Healthcare environment.
- Experience in an integrative health care system (clinical, behavioral health, dental) and/or in a Federally Qualified Health Center.
- Experience effectively utilizing information systems, software, and technologies to design, develop, and deliver learning modules.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish with the ability to speak, read and write in both languages.

- Employees in this position are required to have reliable transportation that can meet any operational reassignments of the organization during the workday. If an employee is driving during work hours, the employee is required to possess a valid driver’s license and must be in compliance with Arizona vehicle insurance requirements.
