Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room for Weekend Nights. Responsible for delivering professional nursing care through the nursing process for inpatients in an OR setting. Requires current RN license (eNLC accepted) and BLS certification within 30 days of hire, with at least 1 year of RN experience. Primary duties include modifying plans of care based on data, employing evidence-based practice, delegating within scope, collaborating with interprofessional teams, educating patients and families, and promoting safe patient care. A BSN is preferred and advancement through a CAPE clinical ladder is described; the role emphasizes adherence to ethical standards, ongoing professional development, and participation in quality improvement activities.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse license in state of practice or multi-state license via eNLC
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
- One year of registered nursing experience
- RN role in inpatient hospital setting
- Ability to perform nursing duties with advanced beginner level competencies
