Job Summary
Scrub and circulate across diverse OR specialties including Robotics, Surgical Oncology, and Cardiac, while participating in complex surgeries utilizing state-of-the-art technology. Serve as an integral member of the perioperative team, advocating for patients undergoing anesthesia and collaborating with the multidisciplinary care group to maintain professional standards. Engage in shared clinical decision-making and consistently evaluate priorities through appropriate interventions to ensure patient safety and infection control. This evening shift role requires 40 hours per week with weekends, holidays, and on-call assignments. Candidates must hold an active RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and an ASN or Nursing Diploma.
Required Qualifications
- ASN or Nursing Diploma
- Active RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) degree
- Prior operating room experience
- Completion of a perioperative 101 course
- BSN
- CNOR - Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) certification
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License
- Evening Shift
- 40 hours per week
- Weekends
- Holidays
- On call
Desired Qualifications
- BSN or must be completed within 5 years upon hire
