Job Summary
Scrub and circulate in diverse OR specialties including Robotics, Surgical Oncology, and Cardiac, while managing complex surgeries with advanced technology. Serve as an integral perioperative team member, advocating for patients under anesthesia and collaborating on clinical decision-making. Maintain safety standards by reporting hazards and errors, supervising task delegation, and individualizing care plans through the nursing process. Work evening shifts (3:00pm–11:30pm) with weekend and holiday coverage, including on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- ASN or Nursing Diploma
- Active RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) degree
- Prior operating room experience
- Completion of a perioperative 101 course
- BSN
- CNOR - Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) certification
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License
- Evening Shift
- 40 hours per week
- Weekends
- Holidays
- On call
Desired Qualifications
- BSN or must be completed within 5 years upon hire
