Provide high-quality patient care in the surgical setting at RWJBarnabas Health's Level 1 Trauma Center, working collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals. Supervise and direct delegation of tasks to appropriate team members while consistently setting and evaluating priorities through appropriate interventions with measurable outcomes. Utilize the nursing process to individualize the plan of care to address specific patient needs and report identified safety issues such as hazardous environments and medical errors. Maintain awareness of ethical standards and evidence-based practice principles to assure safety in practice. Work night shifts from 9:00pm to 7:30am, 40 hours per week, with weekends, holidays, and on-call assignments as assigned.
