Job Summary
Scrub in and circulate across diverse OR specialties including Robotics, Surgical Oncology, and Cardiac. Participate in complex surgeries utilizing state-of-the-art technology while serving as an advocate for patients undergoing anesthesia or sedation. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to maintain professional standards, engage in shared clinical decision-making, and report safety issues such as hazardous environments. Manage patient care priorities through the nursing process and supervise delegation of tasks to appropriate team members. Work evening shifts (3:00pm–11:30pm) with weekend and holiday coverage plus on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- ASN or Nursing Diploma
- Active RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) degree
- Prior operating room experience
- Completion of a perioperative 101 course
- BSN
- CNOR - Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) certification
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License
- Evening Shift
- 40 hours per week
- 3:00pm – 11:30pm
- Weekends
- Holidays
- On call
Desired Qualifications
- BSN or must be completed within 5 years upon hire
- CNOR - Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) certification
