RN Operating Room

RN Operating Room role at Medical City Dallas. Responsibilities include evaluating patients prior to surgery, providing patient and family education about peri-operative care, preparing patients (IV therapy, preoperative medications, site verification), participating in surgical site verification and universal protocols, recognizing and responding to emergencies, delivering high-quality nursing care, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to apply the nursing process and ensure patient safety and workflow efficiency. On-call is required during select non-business hours. Qualifications: RN with an Associate Degree (BSN preferred), 2+ years hospital experience and 1+ year OR experience; Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of start date.
