Job Summary
Plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in the operating room and inpatient units in accordance with physician orders, established guidelines, and the Georgia Nurse Practice Act. Maintain licensure as a Registered Nurse in good standing within the State of Georgia and hold Basic Cardiac Life Support certification. Work a 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. shift with no weekend requirements. A BSN and two years of RN experience are preferred, along with additional clinical specialty certifications where applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations
- Must hold Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
Desired Qualifications
- BSN degree
- Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN)
- Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units
- Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units
