RN, Operating Room - Inpatient (Ground FL)

Demonstrate competency in clinical practice by independently implementing the nursing process for complex patients and families while adapting care to rapidly changing conditions. Operate unit-based patient care technology and computerized information systems efficiently, delegating care where appropriate and serving as a preceptor for new employees and students. Utilize evidence-based guidelines to guide professional practice, participate in quality improvement studies for patient safety, and implement infection control procedures in accordance with hospital policies. Identify ethical issues, refer to other healthcare providers for continuity of care, and immediately report mechanical equipment malfunctions or unsafe conditions to a supervisor. Work a schedule of 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM or 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM, two days per week, with no weekend requirements.
