Demonstrate competency in clinical practice by independently implementing the nursing process for complex patients and families while adapting care to rapidly changing conditions. Operate unit-based patient care technology and computerized information systems safely, integrating evidence-based practice resources into daily care. Delegate care where appropriate and serve as a preceptor for new employees and students. Identify ethical issues, refer to other providers for continuity of care, and participate in quality improvement studies for patient safety.
