Job Summary
Conduct evening operating room nursing care from 10:30 PM to 9 AM, managing IV lines, administering medications, and performing diagnostic tests. Develop individualized care plans, monitor patient progress, and document observations while collaborating with physicians and the multidisciplinary team. Precept new hire staff and students to ensure competency skills. Requires one year of RN operating room circulating experience, BLS certification, and Arizona RN licensure. Sign-on bonus available.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of RN Operating Room Circulating experience
- Required Associates or Diploma in Nursing
- All Diploma and ADN hires must Complete a BSN within 60 months of hire OR have 5 or more years of Registered Nurse experience (including direct patient care or indirect RN roles) at the time of hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification
- Certification in BLS training course C
- unit specific certification as required by specialty area DOP
- Registered Nurse (RN) - License
- State And/or Compact State Licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Arizona
- National certification for unit specific patient population
- Required 1 year RN experience for all Float Positions
- Required 1030-9 shift availability
Desired Qualifications
- 5 or more years of Registered Nurse experience (including direct patient care or indirect RN roles)
- BSN degree
- >10 months med-surg or acute specialty setting experience
